Punjab iPad Scheme Latest Update 2024
Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz has introduced the Punjab iPad scheme to educate children through modern technology in all schools across Punjab. According to this, iPads will be provided in place of books in all schools across Punjab so that children can adopt the modern style of education and provide better results in the future.
The Punjab government has set up a committee evaluating how long the iPad scheme should be introduced. In this regard, orders have been issued by Chief Minister Punjab to HEC so that the iPad scheme can be implemented in schools across Punjab as soon as possible. And children can be equipped with modern education.

iPad Scheme Survey By HEC
A survey has started in some schools across Punjab along with HEC to start the iPad scheme on behalf of the Punjab government. This survey will show how much children can learn through modern technology. If this survey is successful, the iPad scheme will implemented for the entire Punjab, and all students will be provided iPads for education by the Punjab government.
This survey is currently conducted by HEC and the Punjab Government in a few schools. So that the students’ opinions regarding the provision of modern education through iPad can obtained and future action plans can prepared accordingly.
Punjab iPad Scheme Registration Process
The Government of Punjab has introduced No formal registration method so far. The Punjab government and HEC are testing the iPad scheme in a few cities. If it is successful, the government should introduce a formal budget and registration procedure for the scheme. The government has announced that these iPads will be provided to all children in direct schools. Under the Punjab iPad Scheme, iPads will be free to all children. And some money will charged to them.

Eligibility Criteria
The government of Punjab has set eligibility criteria for providing iPads. If the children meet the eligibility criteria, then iPads will be provided to them. The eligibility criteria are provided below.
- To get an iPad, a child’s school attendance must be more than 80 per cent.
- The child should have a high academic record in school.
- The child must enrolled in a government school
- To get an iPad, the child must be able to use it.
